We were in NYC this past weekend and met up with Virginia Luque. She is a fantastic classical and flamenco guitarist. Her site is www.virginialuque.com   I studied with her for a year in 2005. We have stayed in touch and get together once in a while. 

A new friend, Lubos Naprstek, was also with us. He is a master luthier. In addition to doing expert repairs he builds excellent classical guitars. His site is   www.lubosnaprstek.com

The topic of fanned fret boards came up and I told them about Phil deGruy. Phil demonstrated two of his guitars that have this kind of fret configuration for us in New Orleans this past February.
